At Alliance Security Systems, we pride ourselves on using the latest technology for all of your alarm system needs. We do not use 'generic' systems sold over the telephone or online, but rather custom design a system based on the layout of the building and on your specific needs. The system needs to be seamlessly integrated into your own particular lifestyle.

We primarily use systems manufactured by Digital Security Controls (DSC), a Canadian manufacturer with an international reputation for quality and leading edge technology which was founded in 1979. We are also versed in all other manufacturers including Ademco and GE.

A simple security system consists of a panel – the ‘brains’ of the security system, normally located in the basement or somewhere inconspicuous – a keypad, door contacts and a motion detector. This is very basic and provides only minimal protection when you are at home, however it is the least expensive method of protection. Glassbreak detectors and/or window contacts are also an integral part of the systems we design. A glassbreak detector is a microphone which detects the sound of breaking glass while window contacts detect a window being forced open by a prybar. They are extremely effective since they detect an attempted break-in through a window before the intruder has entered the premises and also provide protection if you wish to use the system at night.

All of our security systems are fully warrantied and, being local, we pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service to our clients. As a result of this we were recently awarded the prestigious title of Service Sector Business of the Year for 2009 by the Northumberland Chamber of Commerce.
